I really like the Insanity Upper Body one. It really helps with the pushing of the self. Plus a lot of the workouts are just more interesting on this one. And it goes by mad quick. Nick and I are often using different weights so it’s easy to just set them up from the 20 (that also adjusts to 15 and 10) up to 40 and work with those. Nick upped it to 45 for.. something ridiculous. But there’s also some cardio in between lifting which I just really enjoy. Like damn.

Abs were abs today. Just the short Insanity video cuz there were abs in the weight training so. Yeah.

So it turns out that putting alarms on my phone for every half hour between 6:30 AM and 10:00 PM just so I didn’t have to make new ones and I could just turn on the ones I needed was a mistake. Because then I end up setting alarms for 9 PM instead of 9 AM and I totally sleep through the time I need to do this.

However, this is over halfway into the program and it’s my first MAJOR fuck up. But because I had planned to double up anyway, I’ll just double it up on another day. Oh well.

So I was supposed to do my MAX Interval stuff tonight.. but when I got home I saw an ear of corn and I instinctively ate it because it’s corn. But now I have to wait an hour to work out which just won’t do. So I’m going to have to double up tomorrow and do it in the morning. So I have to be up at 9. And butts on that, yo.

Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. Not bad today. I’m always really hot when I work out because I insist on sweatpants. I really don’t even know why. I also wasn’t happy that my cold shower was interrupted with no water pressure and scalding water due to the hose being used outside.

No Abs today because we did them yesterday. But the recovery drink with the new creatine wasn’t quite as good. Not bad but still ehh.

This was the last Back and Biceps for a while. And I’m just really happy about that. I didn’t like that workout. It was dumb. Because fuck curls. That’s what it comes down to. Fuck curls.

Did the long abs today, too. I forgot how much that one sucked. Not that much, actually. But it still sucked. I’m not eloquent today.

Also, can I just say that I’m really happy with my results? Like, wow. 

I mean, am I ripped? No.

Am I huge and ridiculously manly? No.

Do I still have some pudge? Yeaah.

But am I in better shape? Absolutely.

Can you kinda see my abs without me flexing? Indeed.

And I’m just really pleased with everything I’m getting out of this.

So yeah.

MAX CARDIO whatever and stuff. I hate this one. Well, normally I hate this one. Cuz there’s no water break. But this time it went by REALLY fast for some reason. So that was kind of nice. It still wasn’t easy, though. I still don’t understand how people can quit P90X but I CAN understand why people might quit Insanity. Shit’s hard sometimes.

Also, there’s a video to follow this because.. well yeah it was requested.
