I hate Plyo more and more every time. I also need to stop doing it so late. I’m just so tired.

WHOOPS FORGOT TO POST LAST NIGHT. Insanity Plyo. Pretty sure it sucked. I did push myself with the final power jumps, though. Sweat. Gross. Workout. Yeah.

I’m literally glistening right now. I’ve never sweat so much in under one hour than I am right now. I literally laughed to myself at the fact that Nick told me P90X Plyo was an intense workout. That plyo is hardly a fraction of this. And I’ll admit that I had a lot of trouble with it. Cardio’s not my thing and I wish it was. But I just have to push harder next week.

Fucking Globe Turns and Squat Ups or whatever they even are were probably the hardest. That and Power Jumps. Actually, no, Squat Ups weren’t that bad compared to Power Jumps. But I think I really enjoy the fact that one of the hardest things to do is just the warm up.

Also, note to self, don’t wear sweat pants while doing this. And now I’m going up to my nice Air Conditioned room to sleep.

I’ve reached the point of “Fuck you, Tony Horton, I do what I want” with Plyo and Kenpo. Because normally when I do things like this I always want to start by following everything verbatim and staying exact. Now I just go as fast as I damn well please when the video goes too slow for my liking.

That being said, Plyo is a lot more fun that way. And I’m pushing myself a lot more but it doesn’t feel like it. In fact, it feels nicer. Not to say it doesn’t burn like fuck but still. Anyway, I’m done typing because yeah.

Plyometrics is the one video that, so far, has emphasized Nick’s theory that Tony Horton - P90X’s creator - was just one of those nerds that got tired of being picked on. Because he’s just a strange fellow. But that aside, it wasn’t all that bad today. Sweating like a motherfucker, yes, but it was certainly easier than last week. As Nick pointed out in his post, it’s better to do during the day.

Now a quick rest and then recovery drink and then probably rest again forever.

Plyometrics was rather easy today, I must say. It’s amazing how much difference there is when you exercise early in the day as opposed to really late at night. And now that our lungs are all nice and stretched out, chorus rehearsal should go smoothly in a few hours.

Nice to be at this again. I’m store from chest and back yesterday, but plyometrics was not bad. I’m thoroughly exhausted though.

Memo to self: get more sleep.
