P90X with Tony Horton is possibly one of the only real respectable workout programs because it doesn’t claim to have any miracles; you have to understand that you only get out of it what you put into it. Niether of us will be going for the “tennis ball shoved in the arm” look but rather just a bit off the gut with a little muscle thrown on top. This blog isn’t much more than a personal journal of our own progress that we just decided to put on a medium that we’ll actually use. It’s long, it’s tiring, and it’s gonna suck but one, two, three here we go.
UPDATE: After four weeks of just regular P90X, we’ve decided to finish off with a hybrid of P90X Strength Training/Yoga and Insanity Cardio. This is a mix of two different programs within the “Team Beach Body” family (which contains a total of 14 different programs). The only reason we’re not doing straight Insanity is because I (Rigel) want to finish strength training at least once first.

Due to a combination of sleeping poorly and late nights, I&amp;#8217;ve been bad this week. I missed both Sunday (MAX Interval) and Thursday (MAX Plyo). Today is Insanity Upper Body. And tomorrow is my day to make up what I missed on Sunday. But I&amp;#8217;m not sure if I can tomorrow? And I also don&amp;#8217;t want to do Interval two days in a row because I feel like that&amp;#8217;s bad. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So I&amp;#8217;m going to go to the Insanity Upper Body (which is actually Cardio Power &amp;amp; Resistance) right now. Tomorrow I &lt;em&gt;might &lt;/em&gt;be able to do something but I&amp;#8217;m not sure. So, if that&amp;#8217;s the case, my plan is to spend my Insanity days next week doing doubles. It shouldn&amp;#8217;t be a problem because Nick and I tend to do them separately now anyway. It just requires me getting up early to do one in the morning and one at night. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So the backup plan is as follows:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Friday: Insanity Upper Body (planned)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Saturday: Nothing (wweh)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Sunday: Insanity Interval (planned) + Insanity Plyo (makeup)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Monday: P90X whatever (planned)&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Tuesday: Insanity Cardio (planned+ Insanity Interval (makeup)&lt;/li&gt;
